Quickstart

1. Register — create a free account on /register.
2. Verify — click the link in the verification email (it arrives in seconds). Your key only works once the email is verified.
3. Copy your key — it is shown once on the dashboard. If you lose it, revoke it there and create a new one.
4. Call the API — send the key with every request (see Authentication below). Base URL: https://api.orex.team

Authentication

Every endpoint call needs your API key. Send it one of these three ways (the header is recommended):

Header (recommended): X-API-Key: orx_…
Bearer token: Authorization: Bearer orx_…
Query string: ?key=orx_…

Your key is personal — do not share it or publish it. Keys only work for verified accounts, and a revoked key stops working immediately.

Example: hash some text

One call to /tl/hash?text=test returns md5, sha1, sha256 and sha512 of the text. Replace orx_YOUR_KEY with your key.

Response is JSON. A successful call returns the hashed values; a bad key returns HTTP 401 with an error object.

Rate limits

Endpoints: 60 calls per minute, per API key. Past the limit you get HTTP 429 — wait a minute and try again.
Login, register and resend-verification: 10 attempts per minute, per IP address.

Errors

Errors are always JSON: {"status":"error","error":"…","code":"…"}. The code field is stable — check it, not the message text.
